My Role

Lead UX Designer

Project Overview

AdaptivApps is an accessibility-focused dev shop that has partnered with Angel City Sports—a non-profit that specializes in sports programming and events for athletes with physical disabilities. Together, we built an app that will help Angel City Sports better manage their events for everyone involved— athletes, coaches, and volunteers alike.

I was the sole User Experience Designer for the initial development, testing, and rollout of this product. I worked remotely with AdaptivApps for a period of 6 months to research and define the scope for our delivery. I partnered with a team of 2 web developers to design, test, and deliver our initial release.

Diving into questions

What the folks at Angel City Sports had to say...

“The biggest thing we do is put on the Angel City Games each year. That’s our crown jewel.”

“The biggest struggle we have is just getting everyone where they need to be on time.”

“A solution that could help us get people where they need to be without needing to lean on volunteers would be huge.”
